Tupac Shakur was an American rapper and actor born on 16 June 1971 in New York City, United States. Tupac is known professionally as ‘2Pac’ and ‘Makaveli’. He is known as one of the most influential rappers of all time. He has sold more than 75 million records worldwide. Makaveli has worked in the films like ‘Nothing but Trouble’, ‘Juice’, and ‘Poetic Justice’. He was nominated for the ‘Grammy Award’ in the category of Best Rap Solo Performance for the song ‘Changes’.

On 7 September 1996, he was shot four times in the chest at a stoplight in Las Vegas. He was taken to the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. On 13 September 1996, he died due to internal bleeding.
