2. Use Energy Star Products
A product or item with Energy Star that appliances bearing its label can cut those bills by 30 percent. Using an energy star product will eventually save power. That does not mean you have to replace each and every product. One can replace an old refrigerator or washing machine with a new Energy Star model. Some of the super-efficient products include LED light bulbs, building materials such as doors or windows, and household appliances.
